"NFRN Credit Union is an associational financial co-operative, owned and controlled by its members, established to provide a straightforward savings and loans service for members and employees of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents and their families."
We offer a real alternative to the profit-driven activities of the majority of the financial services sector and, when you use the services of NFRN Credit Union, you are supporting your friends and colleagues within the Federation.
Members are encouraged to make regular savings, creating a pool of money from which loans may be made to other members. The income generated by lending helps us meet our operating expenses, builds our reserves to enable us to grow and pays our savers an annual dividend.
Your money is safe with NFRN Credit Union – we are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.  We are also a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL).  The Financial Services Compensation Scheme now guarantees your deposits up to a maximum of £50,000.
